In establishing the Cerco Academy Not For Profit CIC, we contribute to the United Nation’s and UK governments strategic development goals through collaboration with our technology and employment partners.
- SDG 5 Gender Equality : Diversity and inclusion (D&I) is a specific project theme of the Cerco Academy, supporting this goal by ensuring full and effective participation and equal opportunities for leadership for women and by enhancing the use of enabling technology to promote women’s empowerment.
- SDG 4 Quality Education : The Cerco Academy supports this goal by ensuring equal access for women and men to quality technical education while also increasing the number of adults with relevant technical skills and at the same time removing bias and ensuring inclusive access to vocational training.
- SDG 8 Decent Work and Economic Growth : The Cerco Academy achieves this goal by focusing on entry level roles leading to high-value-added sectors and productive employment.
- SDG 10 Reduce Inequality(SDG 10) : At Cerco Academy we support this goal by lowering the barriers to entry in acquiring technology skills – The Cerco Academy is committed to making digital skills education more accessible for individuals facing unique challenges in their personal lives. Our initiative is designed to support those with caring responsibilities, Veterans and the military community ensuring they can gain valuable knowledge and skills while balancing their commitments.
Beyond this, we are dedicated to empowering underprivileged young people and disadvantaged socio-economic groups, giving them equal access to high-value, highly paid careers across the broad technology sphere.
